Message from Award Program Chair and APSIC President

The APSIC Environmental Hygiene Excellence Award has been established to shine a light on the healthcare facilities across Asia Pacific that go above and beyond in maintaining safe, clean, and infection-free environments for their patients and staff.

Environmental hygiene is the unsung hero of infection prevention — a meticulous discipline that requires commitment, expertise, and continuous improvement. This Award celebrates the teams and institutions who have made that commitment, and whose work has directly contributed to saving lives.

We believe this recognition will inspire others across the region to raise their standards, to innovate, and to champion hygiene excellence as a core value of quality healthcare. We warmly invite eligible institutions to participate in the 2025 Award programme.
